A nice old bottling of Deanston Malt 8-year-old from the 1980s.

These were spicy, slightly fruity and quite full-bodied drams with a nice soft waxiness. 

Deanston is quite an underrated distillery, but never judge a book by its cover. These older bottlings are a fantastic whisky and display characteristics of a classic old school whisky.
